Summer Resident Camp
At Camp Collins, located along the Sandy River just east of Gresham, Oregon, campers ages 6-17 are given a fun, safe and supportive environment to learn and explore, while embracing the YMCA core values of love, respect, honesty, responsibility and service. Every day at Camp Collins is an exciting outdoor adventure, where campers build confidence, make friends, have fun, learn and play together. Our professionally trained counselors and staff encourage campers to try a variety of exciting outdoor activities such as tubing, swimming, climbing, horseback riding, bouldering, and so much more.
- Resident Camp Overnight campers live in a community environment designed to encourage teamwork, new friendships and personal growth. Resident Camp is divided into three age groups, called "Units" which offer age appropriate camping experiences.
- Summer Day Camp More than the supervision of children, we teach children to live and work together while fostering self-esteem in an outdoor environment.
Teen Camps
- Teen Camp For older campers who love camp and want an extended experience full of opportunities for personal growth and fun.
- Teen XL (Extreme Leadership) Is a group based experiential learning process for campers entering grades 10 & 11 who are seeking increased leadership opportunities.
- Counselors in Training Camp CITs practice leadership skills and learn more about themselves and working with children. CITs spend one week interning with a cabin counselor or program staff.
Summer Day Camp
The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette offers Summer Day Camps during the summer months for students entering first through eighth grade, ages five to fourteen. Day camps begin in June each year and continue through August and are available at more than 20 locations throughout the Portland and Vancouver five county area.
YMCA Youth Sports Camps
Come play basketball or soccer with us! There are great youth sports camps at YMCAs across our communities for youth in elementary school through high school. Summer camps and summer leagues are available, with various offerings at each location.
