Last year 36,000 youths of all ages were active in YMCA recreational, semi-competitive and competitive youth sports. Children who develop healthy exercise and eating habits are more likely to lead healthy lifestyles through adulthood.
Our youth sports activities encourage healthy competition, the value of participation, team building, individual development, positive self-image, a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others as well as family involvement.
