YMCA Youth Sports
Last year 9,300 kids were active in Y Youth Sports. Children who develop healthy exercise and eating habits are more likely to lead healthy lifestyles through adulthood.
Our youth sports activities encourage healthy competition, the value of participation, team building, individual development, positive self-image, a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others as well as family involvement.
YMCA youth sports programs fill discretionary hours with positive activities and caring adult attention. Our coaches, who are often volunteers and include many parents, emphasize teamwork and cooperation.
